Low Grape Supply Marks January in the São Francisco Valley

Frequent rains in the São Francisco Valley region (PE/BA) this January have posed a significant challenge for seedless grape production. According to APAC, rainfall exceeded 100 mm in Petrolina by the 22nd, while ARA AGRÍCOLA’s farms recorded 208 mm. These conditions have led to issues such as berry splitting in mature grapes, flower abortion, and an increased risk of fungal diseases like Glomerella.

Despite these challenges, ARA AGRÍCOLA reaffirms its commitment to delivering high-quality grapes. Thanks to the daily dedication of our team, we continue to overcome adverse weather conditions and implement the best agricultural practices to ensure excellence for our partners and customers.
